• Hibiscus, Mainly offered as tea, good source of Vit C which boosts the immune system, helps to lower blood pressure, and is full of antioxidants.  Beneficial for boosting immunity, heart health, lowering blood pressure, improving digestive issues, urinary tract infections, lowers triglycerides,  LDL(bad) cholesterol and increases HDL(good) cholesterol, calms the nervous system, helps reduce anxiety and depression.  It inhibits the production of amylase, which reduces the absorption of carbohydrates and starch.  Promotes liver health by reducing fat accumulation in the liver and lower blood fat levels.  Fresh leaves and flowers can be offered to parrots as enrichment.  Dried flowers can be added to dry seed mixes.

Feeding guide:

Small to medium birds: 1/4 tablespoon for meal.

Large to extra large birds: 1/2 to 1 tablespoon
